Dr. Norman Bolosan was born and raised on the island of Oahu. After graduating from St. Louis School in Honolulu, he left the islands to pursue studies at the University of Washington, embarking on a gratifying career in healthcare.
He completed a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy in 1988. His pharmacy career included rewarding experiences as a pharmacy intern at Providence Medical Center (now Swedish Cherry Hill), a pharmacist at Bartell Drugs, a sales representative for Merck, and a clinical pharmacist at St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma.
He entered the University of Washington School of Dentistry in 1993. On weekends, he worked as a pharmacist at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, and on weekdays, he was a dental student. In his last year of dental school, he served as senior class president. He still recalls it as the busiest years of his life. In 1997, he earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, and was honored with the Quintessence Award for Clinical Excellence, and the School of Dentistry Governance and Service Award.
Shortly after graduating, Dr. Bolosan began private practice in Bothell. He is an Affiliate Instructor at the University of Washington School of Dentistry, and an Instructor for dental assistant externships for Lake Washington Institute of Technology. He is moving forward with sharing his wisdom and experience with the next generation of dental professionals.
Dr. Bolosan enjoys spending the weekends hanging out with his wife Bridget and daughter Katie, who is a pre-dental student at the UW. He is a self described “fitness geek” and will do anything from yoga to weight training to crossfit, and has completed the popular home workouts P90X and Insanity. He is a true advocate for healthy living and good health.
